Chenille Patches
Chenille letters or emblems are produced to decorate the varsity jackets or award the sports team. They are made with chenille yarn based on one or two layers of felt background. A combination of chenille and embroidery is often applied to sports patches.

An embroidered badge is created by stitching the design onto a base cloth , giving a textured finish, and slightly raised design, which gives depth to the design, and an almost three-dimensional appearance. Letters should be 4mm high at minimum to achieve good clarity. When the letters are between 2mm~4mm high, we recommend woven or die sublimation patches.
Embroidery PatchesA woven label is weaved on a loom and gives a smooth finish to the patch surface. It is an excellent choice for smaller badges as you can achieve greater definition, and smaller detail. Due to the flat surface it is also much less susceptible to abrasion and fraying. Without raised threads from background, it doesn’t have appearance similar to 3D like embroidery.
